Myopia

This is also known as near sightedness. Myopia patients can see nearby objects clearly but their remote vision wiil be blurred. Head aches and eye-strain are the symptoms of this problem. A lot of kids are suffering with this. The reasons for this disease are prolonged eye balls and increased power of the eye lense.

Images formed in the eye will be located in between the retina and lense.

Using a concave lense this problem can be solved.

 Hyperopia

This is also known as far-sightedness. People suffering from this problem can see far objects clearly but their nearby vision will be blurred. Their eyeballs will be shorter and the images of nearby objects will be focussed beyond the retina.

Hyperopia can be cured using proper concave lense.
